I think that attention has to be combined with priorities. Specifically, the last thing I want is a "Marshall stream." I have experimented with different ways to organize an unwieldy number of RSS feeds and find that explicit steps need to be taken to make sure that certain things don't get lost in my feeds. For example, I want inbound links to my clients to be brought to my attention right away, I don't want them burried in an undifferenciated pile of feeds or items.

From my bouncing around the blogosphere, it seems there is a lot of energy behind the calls for both attention and tagging to be incorporated into the rss reading experience.

Hi Eric

I am following your work on Attensa very closely. Great job. I cannot wait to try the Attensa server-side service. When will 0.99 be available? I do hope that you support the Firefox/Thunderbird/OpenOffice clients just as much as you are the Outlook/IE/Office.

Attensa is now the only reason I still use Outlook (this is my last Microsoft desktop client) but I guess you are becoming a very attractive acquisition for Microsoft, so focusing their products makes sense. ;-)

P.S I have sent you a private email regarding a topic that I would rather keep private for now.
